The
NewEnergy Attitude
Developing
the right attitude is paramount to your success. The ideal attitude is
simply accepting the fact that changing your lifestyle habits can and
will be tough. However making these tough changes will make
getting
your results simple!
So while I never expect anyone to have
the same attitude as myself or to want the same fitness goals as I
strive for, I do expect you to come with an attitude of determination
to succeed.
The worst thing you could say to yourself is 'I
Can't'. This instantly puts the breaks on your goals and whether you
mean it or not you are saying this is impossible.
The
literal translation of 'I can't' means the task you are attempting to
do is physically impossible, which it's not, it may not be easy but
it's not impossible. So when it comes to training or nutrition use the
words it's hard or it's tough but never I can't.
Another important aspect of developing the right attitude is wanting to
do the steps that will lead you to your goals.
If
you want to lose body fat and tone up the steps involve cleaning up
your nutrition and having to say no to certain things. Also getting
fitter is vital to your success as is getting stronger. When you link
these steps to your main goals the whole process becomes easier and the
results happen much sooner.
To many people make excuses for
their lack of results when simply taking responsibilty for their
actions and decisions can be the biggest mindshift they need.
Developing the right attitude is one of the biggest predictors of
whether you will succeed or not.
